ADAGIO|Music Festival

2025 FESTIVAL LOCATION	This year's festival will take place in St. Matthew's United Church located at: 333 Crosby Ave, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 2R5

2025 ADJUDICATOR:

Naida Hasanzade is a piano teacher with over 25 years of experience teaching children and adults in various music school, in both her native Azerbaijan and Canada, including Canadian Private Music School where she was appointed the head of the department.

Mrs. Hasanzade employs a unique approach to teaching, often incorporating improvisation and student led learning. This approach helps students develop both the required skills and creative thinking.

WHAT IS ADAGIO | Music Festival
A staged performance arranged to expose one's musical abilities to public, as well as to develop stage comfort and self-confidence in students who are aiming for career in performing arts.

Our grants include: Scholarships and/or Certificates of Achievement and are given accordingly to students participating in two or more categories.

First Award Winning students may be invited to perform at the Festival Concert. The performer may play a piece of their choice or the piece for which the award was granted.

WHO CAN ATTEND?
Students of all ages currently taking Piano Lessons with either a Private Music Teacher and/or in a Music School are welcome to participate in ADAGIO | Music Festival. Please see the Regulations Section for the complete list of requirements.
